JCM Gala

One of my good friends and fellow DDS Helen helped organize the event, which is held annually at the largest Jewish themed children’s museum in the United States. Located in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, this building contains multiple floors of indoor exhibits that showcase various aspects of traditional Jewish culture from an interactive perspective. Some of my favorite exhibits were a mini-golf course located on the 5th floor terrace with Manhattan skyline views, a child sized indoor rock climbing wall, and even a giant plastic challah designed for kids to crawl through. Although this is technically a children’s museum, the open bars located throughout the space that night (including one in the elevator!) seemed to bring out the kid in all of us. Special thanks to my husband Dan, who was our photographer for the night.
